In a world where oceans are being poisoned by plastic, and the air is sick with carbon emissions, it is easy for individuals to feel helpless, even despairing. This is where the tools of the artist and writer can expand the role of science to create awareness and inspire action towards positive change.
The Gloucester Writers Center, in conjunction with the Rocky Neck Cultural Center, will present a panel discussion of the arts and the environment. Participants will include novelist JoeAnn Hart, artist Karen Ristuben, photographer David Arnold, and artist/educator Kyle Browne, and will be moderated by Mary John Boylan.
